i think change is good, we've progressed and made other changes to better the league over the years, i think this is just following suit.

Teams are becoming very tight and this will just help us match what the NHL already does.

But we don't need to mimic the NHL to a T.

Would like to read a good argument why would should do this. Pretty sure Kyle just tossed this idea out as we were discussing mimicking NHL.

Dropping contracts during the season seems like an easy and harmless thing to add IMO
