...I'm American we don't know nothin bout no hockey....haven't turned it down but I have particular players I prefer to others so I'm in no rush to confirm a deal. I mean worst that can happen is I'm stuck with one of the next great ones. Win win in my book

Wow that offer definitely takes me out of the running. Theres definitely something to be said about respecting a great offer rather than running a continuous hold out. But I suppose we are locked within a trade freeze for a few more weeks anyways. That is an amazing offer by Matthew, Kane works well with your cap structure, makes you a competitive team next year instantly, with a a really strong prospect pool to insulate your roster going forward. Don't see how you could turn that down.
