Like for Paul and Josh a bit more but decent deal all around

Bruyns wroteCOLONTampa didn't give up a 1st and Gudas for him if they shared the same view as Casper. He will be top 4 and put up good BBKL stats like he has every year. Stats could go down some, but he is a better BBKLer than NHLer like many D in this league.

They gave up a 1st and Gudas because they are trying to win a cup. I'm not really sure how Hextall pulled that one off. In reality a late 1st+Gudas is not really a huge price to pay for a cup. Gudas honestestly isn't that great and a late 1st in most draft years really isn't worth that much.

I'm making this sound like I think Coburn is trash, but I don't. He is what he is. A middle pair defender that is solid in his own end, can log big minutes for stretches, and makes his bones pking. He was hated in Philly mostly because he was tasked with doing way more than what he was capable of doing which in turn led to his great bbkl stats. I like him in spite of how incredibly frustrating he is to watch becausefor as big and as good of a skater he is he should be so much better. That and the killer 1-2 badpenalties he takes every game when he gets lazy with his skating and drags a guy down.

I think Coburn is super under rated

In terms of NHL OR BBKL? He is an extremely 1 dimensional player that was asked to do a lot in Philly. He was definitely under appreciated byPhilly fans because he wasn't a #1 dman, but for a time he was used like one. I'd venture to say his BBKL stats take a hit in Tampa as well because I think his minutes will decrease over time.
