Green used to be so exciting to watch when he played with ovi. An explosive hard hitting player. He sure fell from grace quickly.

Had a productive year last year. But yea. My god he was a force. The Capitals teams around 2008-2010 were such a treat to watch

Then they tried to change the team from being purely offensive to integrating defence in and they went from destroying the league in the regular season to just meh.

Agreed that their transition was a mistake for a while there. But I thought last year was the most dangerous they ever looked in the playoffs though. That team was a legitimate contender.
