Everyone says this but when push comes to shove it never happens. Have you noticed the offers people put out for good players...lol Its comical. That is why i have mad respect for people that step up and make solid offers when they want to get a deal done. I get people trying to try there best to improve with minimal assets but i dont got time for that shit. The back and forth and back and forth use to be fun but now i just want to get shit done and watch some hockey.

I consider Getz on an absolute other level than callahan who I believe could fall off pretty easily. I still think a Getz block gets way way better offers.

And yeah, sorry if I didn't offer something huge for you, but like you said, I have nothing even worth cally + 1st, so what am I supposed to do? Offer 3 players when I can't even fill my roster? Sorry.

Nothing agaisnt your offers. I know where you are coming from. What could i get for Getzlaf that i didnt already get? Im not interesting in rebuilding or downgrading. I got a similar player for 2.25 mil less....

Oh, I know Pavel is good for your situation. In bbkl, anyways (I think you Def lost value), but I kinda just wanted to see the big offers thrown around. I bet paul would offer Saad + Nelson, for example. Maybe you consider pavelski better tho.

saad and nelson is what in salary? You must consider i had to cut almost 20 million in cap to become compliant this year and alot of teams are against the cap as well. The very few teams with salary space had the power. I lost value on alot of deals this summer. I had too. People make comments after the fact but no one steps up. This is BBKL.

Nelson IMO is like Kunitz. A lot of value is from who he plays with. That's value I won't pay for as it changes too easily



Pav/Getz = gotta do what you gotta do. Pavelski scores a ton and puts up great number based on his own skill set, and he makes a lot less $ than Getz. Good trade. Really wish I woulda got in the convo. Not that I could have beat this price though.

In all fairness I offered Subban for Callahan + Seabrook + 1st. I assume you didn't have depth so couldn't do it.

I personally think Callahan is badly overrated in this league. Doesnt really hit or pk. He doesn't even score at an elite pace. Seems like a pretty retarded contract to carry imo. Sure, maybe he's a great nhler (better than nelson). But in this league nelson does more and is 1/3rd the price.
