Guys like McLeod are exactly the type you move when you're trying to add value to your team, these are bad NHLers that have BBKL value but eventually get replaced by players with actually talent, see Theo Peckham, Mike Weber, Derek MacKenzie etc. you're playing with fire holding onto them and hoping for them to maintain value.

Agree if he can get value, but if the best offer is an inferior player in Garbutt it makes it difficult. I'd like McLeod, but the only players I could move for him are Lupul, Perreault and Clifford. Lupul is too much cap, I prefer Perreault and Clifford likely doesn't get it done.

True for sure, but the alternative is McLeod loses his spot and he lands nothing at all, Garbutt is in the same boat as well, I'd be looking for picks and decent futures though if I was the CLB GM.

Kind of why i offered Downie and couldn't explain in bbkl terms why i thought it was fair. Downie has a bit of an offensive side to him as a high pim goon.

also claimed Saad would be playing with RyJo (has not for a lot of the season AFAIK)
