This is ridiculous. I'd want this vetoed if anyone ever considered it.

That kind of makes you a hypocrite.

He had to sit out of the league for a year. Whether he is a hypocrite or not, he is right: The idea is more important than the author.

Matthew wroteCOLONI'm against this. I dislike when leagues start to go wishy washy like this and everyone starts jumping teams like musical chairs. May as well be in a league with a bunch of 12 year olds. If you want to rebuild, then trade your players for prospects.
You do realize that I am asking to jump to a worse off team to make them better, right? The alternative posted was.. to trade my team away for nothing. Because that improves the health of the league?

How about you just keep your team and try to win? What doesn't improve the health of the league is having a gm jumping fom team to team so he can do what makes himself happy. How about we just allow everyone who makes this request jump from team to team? At the end of every season we can allow all gms to jump teams. Sounds dumb? Yep.

^what he said.
Lee does it this year.
Then next year Tony wants SJS.
Then Lee wants to move again and take over CAR.
We end up having a league that is more focused on moving than long term health

How? I was banned for a year and lost the team I had invested years into...that's a good result?

And I want to leave my team on good terms, not because I was bored with the league and left for a while. I want to help the league by building another healthy, active roster while also doing something that I enjoy. It's a mutually beneficial relationship.

I find it kind of ironic that the 2 people the most out spoken on this issue are the ones I've publicly called out for making terrible offers.

That has nothing to do with why I think this is moronic. I'd say the same no matter who wanted to do this. I hate it when leagues become flimsy.

Seems Mike has all ready said he would veto the move. No idea why this is still being spoken about. Bye.

Mike created the league but I will flat out leave if he is the be all and end all of decision making. The CC is put in place to make decisions and I have always respected the decision process even if I don't agree with it. I haven't put 6 years of my life into the league to be ruled over by a tyrant.

And you were allowed to come back and take over a good team. Cliff left and came back. Based on the responses, the message being sent is that is the road he has to go to get a different team. I don't really have much of an opinion either way on the subject, but facts are facts.
