i offered it with an add (small value, but effective depth C), sure seem like any offer you send in this place gets rumoured about 19 ways though.

cap hit: 7.25 for 6 more yearsNick wroteCOLONMeh, I get not. League loves C and hates big contract wingers. regardless of performance.
I had Bobby Ryan who is a reliable 100hits 20g, 30a, stpts, sog, and just 29 years old... had is basically give him away to get under the cap.
Well, everyone has their opinion. Lets also neglect that Zajac is in the offer though.Matthew wroteCOLONNot 3 prospects that should be involved in a stamkos deal.
73M cap - scorers cost cap once they've proven reliable at it, wingers who actually score and do something else tend to cost more. 56th in points and you know what you're getting...again and again. Not about to decline, 3 years ago if a player was over 32 they were hard to move, now if they are over 6M they are hard to move. It's like we're paying them ourselves.Arian The Insider wroteCOLONcap hit: 7.25 for 6 more yearsNick wroteCOLONMeh, I get not. better to leave that out though
It was Plekanec Backes*Bruyns wroteCOLONPaul I was discussing that deal with Shiv not Koomzz and it was Plekanec + Polak + Crouse + 1st for Stamkos + Boyle + Lewis/Wingels + 2nd
I felt I was giving up too much and wanted Crouse or your 1st taken out and Shiv didn't agree so it died and he made another deal.
45 guys in front of him reached the 56 point mark in their careers before this year. Yes, some are not perennial 55+ point scorers but that's because they haven't played as many years or have just started to hit their prime. They're all talented enough to do it again.Nick wroteCOLON73M cap - scorers cost cap once they've proven reliable at it, wingers who actually score and do something else tend to cost more. 56th in points and you know what you're getting...again and again. i'd easily take Kane @ 10.5 over Ryan @ 7.25 for exampleMatthew wroteCOLONPeople are going a little overboard on this whole cap hit thing. Great players get paid. If you want a great player he is gonna have a big cap unless he is on a rookie contract. Deal with it.
But yeah, a guy like bobby ryan is definitely overpaid.
