Isn't it part of the rules that each team needs to expose 25% of their team cap as well though, so everyone will end up exposing some decent players?

So if we use this each team must expose 2 forwards who have played 40+ games or 50 in the past 2 seasons, 1 dman who has played 40+ games or 50 in the past 2 seasons, and 1 goalie.

Although we will need to make tweaks to accommodate our own format.

You don't actually need to expose that much, 1 goalie, 1 full-time dman and 2 full time forwards.

There's no official list yet from NHL there are loose rules, not explicit ones in certain examples. Use cap friendly for now

you haven't been paying attention if you think this will be announced ced any time soon. maybe the day before the expansion draft.
