It's entirely possible that it could happen but it won't happen for very long nor will the guilty parties be involved with the league for very long.

I understand what "under the table" means but the government also understands and fraud and tax evasion are.

Deals will be cut even if it's only picks/prospects to take someone over said player

At the beginning of this year I had no devils and 2 lightning. All my players are getting moved there via trades or waivers. I now have 5 devils and 6 lightning, between NHL and AHL. Mostly scrubs:
NJ: Blandisi, noesen, Wood, Harper, speers
Tb: paquette, brown, mckegg, conacher, taormina, gourde

Disappointing NHL deadline as far as my team is concerned, no one among guys I was hoping to see moved got moved (players on my team or others..)

On my whole roster I think P.Eaves is the only player that got moved, from Stars to Ducks.

Neuvirth resigning in PHI makes it seem like he will be a 1b starter at least
