Yes, I do. But I didn't not accept because I didn't think the offer was fair. I didn't accept because I couldn't fit it into a 7-3-1 or 4-4-1 expansion setup, unfortunately. It would have given me 4 d to protect, and like 6 fwds I wanted to protect. In season I'd probably have jumped on that offer like white on rice. But who knows...

Trade it to Paul after expansion?

The whole reason Lee is making this trade is so he doesn't have 5 good dmen come expansion.

I mean just looking off hand, Duchene, Hayes, Zajac, Huberdeau, Nino, Lando, Lucic, Sheary. That's already 8 valuable fwds I'm sure he would like to protect. I'm sure either or could've worked.

Ya 1st season in the AHL he was on an AHL deal not an NHL contract.

It was nice making the playoffs but my lack of depth was fairly obvious. I don't want to just make the playoffs.
