Maybe Tim is the new Liberator of the apprehensive voice?

Instead i get a player back that is exempt, get to protect Ceci and more than likely lose Kevan Miller which still kinda sucks. That is, unless there is another offer to be had. I am still open to providing the shittiest possible list to the expansion team.
I haven't talked to Tim about it, but Miller might have more value than one of your exposed forwards + 1st + 3rd.
BBKL is doing a pretty good job of redistributing assets, but the 40/70 rule will still give Tim 30 decent assets to work with.
Yea Kevan Miller isnt bad. For 2.5 its a bit steep but he gets alot of periph numbers. I just wish he wasnt injured so much. He def will have some value in BBKL but im not sure he is more valuable than what you mention. Everything is open to interpretation though and personal opinions.

I have to agree with Tim. It would have to be clear overpayment value wise for me to take a lesser player if I'm in his shoes as well..

Which forward(s) would you expose in that scenario cam, out of curiosity?

So he would have been looking at the following:
1st 2018 (BOS mid range) + 3rd + 2 waiver picks + one of:
Nate Thomspon
Chris Stewart
Chris Vandevelde
Brett Connolly
Vernon Fiddler
to not select A dman versus getting say Kevan Miller. So it was by no means a slam dunk from his point of view obviously, but i guess i was giving more value to mid range firsts than there needs to be? maybe not? I understand that he has a way better knowledge of what is coming his way and is getting bombarded from everyone so im not going to give him one bit of a hard time. I assume he has a plan and that offer just didnt fit into it and Maybe a #6 dman fills that spot. I mean K. Miller hits alot of periphs and i will miss him. I just think for me, making this move was necessary. I got a young offensive minded dman and was able to secure the other (Ceci). Tim is obviously in the hot seat with all the action and i am kind of jealous. It seems like it would be a lot of fun. We are all gambling and so is he at this point. I think he will be able to assemble a playoff level team if he picks smartly.

Ya I don't love the forward options either so I'd say its pretty even, but the value of that 2018 1st, I think I would've gone that way over Miller/Dekeyser personally. Especially knowing that I think the best pieces from other teams are gonna be D-men from the limited lists I looked at. But... as Tim said, he knows what he's doing. I'm interested to see what the final product will be!
