Typically whoever gets the best piece in the deal ends up winning the trade. In this case Smith is the best piece, so Kings win the trade for me.
Shaw is a bum, but could see an uptick in PIMS now that MTL is likely going to lose alot. What you see is what you get though, so at least there is that consistency level.
I'm just not a fan of Pearson.... such a meh player.
