are you talking about your deal with DAL that was posted (rather than confirmed) like 40' late? it doesn't sound like the same situation.

In fact back then 4 deals were rejected, and the one posted before the deadline was only rejected because it was confirmed after roster lock on fantrax (nor on the board I believe)

The league announcement thread had a pretty clear MUST and i believe that was agreed upon because there was a whole kurfuffle last year or the year before. I believe there were 2 trades that were late. One was close and the other was quite a bit over time. Both being ultimately rejected.

We are tryjng to create clear rules for a reason. And this MUST sounds quite clear.

I don't remember if last year something different happened that made things change.

If you click on my previous post's link, you can see by that announcement that the reason the deal posted before the deadline was rejected was that it was confirmed after roster lock.

Here's a solution, don't be a cheap cunt and hold out til a few minutes before the deadline to post a deal. I'm pretty sure every year you do this where you have at least 1 deal to right down to the wire.

yeah I see the announcement can be interpreted as must be both posted before the deadline and confirmed before the deadline, even if it had not been the case in the past.

Either way, up to CC decide (without my vote). I did what I could from my part, agreeing (twice) on a deal hours before the deadline.
It's far from a given I would end up on the right side of this deal anyway so at least for now the only frustration comes from the fact I had to wait (hence waste) hours on this.

for the record, I believe this would be the first time in league's history a deal posted before the deadline and confirmed before lock gets rejected, and it's not like in the past it was clarified you could do that.

2018 BBKL Trade Deadline

Monday, February 26th - 6pm EST (trade MUST be posted and confirmed) (this is the FINAL week of our regular season also)

We should have a vote. No one person decides.

Holy fuck...we did this last year

not sure why this is up for debate. I think I had a trade last year that was posted before the deadline, but I wasn't able to confirm it until after because of work and we reversed it. (... if you even want precedent). Not big deal.

Easy no. Follow the rules.
