I'm not understanding this, preseason tab is very incomplete
i cant add proper players in lineup
seems that no "waiver exempt" players can be added to lineup (not even available in drop-down menu to select player)
and tomas plekanec is apparently "waiever exempt"

Sounds good Paul. We'll see what happens with that. Not having person-to-person interaction sometimes makes these faceless posts seem kinda dull and boring.

I'll help you guys as much as I can but I did all this work to make less work for you guys. We'll get it all ironed out and we'll have another great season here.

Well I can add Teuvo now but no goaltenders

Insert joke about me not having goaltenders to add anyways.

Yeah, I saw an issue with my goalies too. Might be a quick fix where I don't need to overhaul much...just tweak a formula.

Replaced the "Preseason" sheets once again but I did copy over your lineups if you've started working on those. I did run into a couple other pesky issues so it was easier replace the entire sheet. Hopefully the only issues we have now is the missing information.

This sort of format still freezes the shit out of my phone... I'll let you know when I get to a desktop. As of this morning I still didn't have the option add guys like Thornton to my active lineup.

Any issues from this morning should be resolved. I haven't tried it on the phone but I'm sure it takes a little time to load up. There's a lot of stuff in the background going on.

Guys like Thornton won't be available until I add their contract info. You can only add players with contracts to your lineup. I'm going to go through all your rosters add contracts to your main players and then I'll pick off all the fringe minor leaguers and entry level deals.

Just a friendly note to you guys...if you post any names in the drop thread, make sure you drop them on Fantrax. I'm going through and making sure the names you posted are players you've dropped on Fantrax. I'm updating my database and I'll remove those players from your roster. I sent a few PMs out to teams that have resolve their roster.

When it comes to trades...like the one with Steve and Paul...I'm now updating the picks on my draft sheets and I'm also updating the database. Any trades you make, I'll try to get the database updated so you guys can use those players on your sheets.

I had time last night to add a good amount of veteran contracts. I'll continue to chip away at that. The little guy goes to bed fairly early so I usually can get an hour or two a night to do some league stuff.

Just so we have an understanding...make sure when you post (and confirm) a trade or post a dropped player...make the move on Fantrax as soon as you can. I'll make the update to the rosters when both halves of the transaction are complete. Also, when a trade moves from "Completed Trades" to "Confirmed Trades", that's your sign that the trade is good to go and I've made the update to your sheet (roster and/or draft picks). I'll do my best to check trades and drops once a day.

Luke Witkowski's position is listed as D on the sheet, but W on FT. I think a similar situation happened last year with him, just want to figure out which position he's going to be listed for the season so I can make a "NHL" roster out of my players

also, not that it matters, but Peluso is under my Defenseman, should be W as well

He's probably the only guy that falls under the D or W situation...most of the issues with players is between C or W. I don't seem to remember him playing defense last year...he's probably a full time winger now.

Chris Wagner is dual (classifies as W) but I can only assign him as C.

C1 Joel Eriksson Ek $1,106,666
>> should be a W

C4 Zach Aston-Reese $925,000
>> should be a W

W1 Jonathan Marchessault $5,000,000
>> should be a C
