Honestly, Paul you had a nice roster this year...moreso upfront...surprised things didn't go better for you this year. Was it injuries that did you in? Defense is kinda thin too.

Got Bemstrom in the mix with your other forwards...don't seem you're that far from competing. And you've got draft capital to build from.

It's a gradually improving roster plus you have two 1st round picks to boot. That's kind of my goal as we move along. Have a competitive roster in one hand and to carry some extra draft capital in the other. Build up some futures over here and then over there have a team that can flirt with a playoff spot or legitimately compete if you want to lean into it. If you miss the playoffs, you still have some good players to either continue to play with or may you sell one off here and there for the right price and if you can avoid temptation, you still have your 1st round pick.
