to be honest .. i think there is too much puck hogging going on there between OV and OV. lol.
Move one sedin to the wing; Sedin - Crosby - Sedin <--- AMAZING.

physically and defensively, kyles line would dominate. crosbys the only solid back checker on that line. i repeat: Zetterberg - Getzlaf - Iginla would dominate.

You can say it as many times as you want, it doesn't make it any more true. The line I proposed has infinitely more skill, speed, and vision, and aside from Sedin, both Crosby and OV can play the physical game well, and in OV's case, better than anyone else on the line you proposed, and defensively speaking, I take the OV line everyday of the week.

nothing you said counters the fact that crosby is the only back checker on that line. not only that to dominate physically means overall. as a line, kyles line would be impossible to move off the puck.

Sedin doesn't back check...Wow...Clearly you have never seen a Vancouver Canuck game in your life, and the hate OV gets for not back checking is incredible, last game alone he made 3 unbelievable defensive plays in which he was the first man back on all rushes. In blowout games he will play past the blueline and go for the rust, but in important games he backchecks like a pitbull, and when he wants to is one of the most effective two way players in the game. As for your second point, I am going to pretend you didn't say that, seeing as how both Crosby and OV are arguably two of the hardest players to knock off the puck, Sedin aint too shaby either.

P.S. Take a look at Getzlaf back checking the next time you watch Ana, and then tell me how great he is defensively...

I couldn't agree more. I don't know if there's a bigger floater defensively in the NHL then Getzlaf

Over statement of the year...SEMIN hands down. I can keep naming them but I dont wanna start more arguments lol.

I agree sedins back check for sure. In fact they are the ones out there in the last two mins because they can kill a minute just holding the puck on the boards, they also pk from time to time. To say they are a defesnsive reliability is completely off base. As for crosby.......spezza playoffs is all I gotta say. Ov, well I hate him but he is just as physical as Iggy or Getz.

To sum Ov - Crosby - Sedin owns

That other line might win some games against them but when matched up week to week they would lose more often than they win.
