lol no, we landed two defencemen and we now think we have a legitimate shot and the cup there is a difference. Funny as well that they get talked about as contenders on every single network. If any time in our teams history we have the right to be on a high horse it is now lol. The fact that the boys from nhlvs made fun of leafs fans after the first goal of the season was scored for them is a testimate that its not just nucks fans that find the leafs/leafs fans entertaining.

I'm from PEI, and I happen to cheer for teams from Toronto. It's not Toronto bias, atleast from me. Vancouver has a serious "little brother" syndrome.

A little tale to prove my point:

I was in greece having a conversation with a girl from halifax and she was talking about how much she hates people from southern ontario. The group of girls over hear our conversation and the alfa (from london lol) asks,

"whats your deal with southern ontario".
We reply we hate how little they know about the rest of Canada.
She reply's thats pretty judgemental
so I asked her is vancouver on vancouver island or on the mainland?
She replys Isn't vanouver island just another name for Vancouver?
I reply you are dumb.
She says to the girl I was with, as if you knew that.
Girl I was with said its one of the largest cities in Canada, of course I knew that.
Girl from ontario says, where are you from.
Chick I was with replies, Halifax
Girl from ontario says. well thats why you knew, you are soo much closer to there.
I said to the girl from ontario thank you for proving my point.


I have so many similar stories its not even funny, can't name all our provinces and forget territories type deal.. This was from a world travelor who really should know more about this country. I realize that you guys may know alot more about canada than that and am not calling you dumb but thats the kind of thing Kyle was trying to say about center of the universe. Kind of like why americans get a bad rap tbh which i feel is unfair. They know alot about their country at least and both countries live in a bubble and know very little about the rest of the world. The only reason we know more about the usa is that we get their tv lol.
