lol frank
you can't fire a GM based on a deal involving exclusively prospects and picks.
yes, the deal looks like shit for lee, and it probably will be, but for all we know kozun is the next st. louis and kindl wins the norris in 3 years (neither of which will happen but you get my point)

I knew by making such statement I would put my self in hot water with Flyers and other but I was simply being honnest. I agree there only prospect but I feel and most of the gm feel he made a huge mistake and it ain't the first time.

No Frank.
What I did was trade a couple of prospects for a couple of prospects, and people think the value was off.
You played this week with an illegal roster, below the salary cap and had a top 3 selection removed because of it, plus enough warnings to remove you from the league.
I defended you, I even helped you by giving you 3.5 mil worth of salary without asking for anything back, or you even asking me to do so. Glad to know that this is how you repay people.

I've liked Kindl so far but he's going to have a hard time finding playing time in Detroit any time soon...at least until someone gets hurt. If he was playing right now, I'd like this for Lee. But then again, Scott probably doesn't move him if he was playing. An upgrade of a pick is never a bad thing either. This deal on its own is pretty solid for Lee although Glennie is potentially the best piece of the deal. More than likely, he's going to go onto be the better pro than Kozun.
The question goes back to why not just keep McBain in the first place? If you're going to go young and take your lumps...why not just roll with a young player that's in the show now? Kindl is definitely closer than Wiercioch to being a full time guy but at last with McBain, while he's not been setting the world on fire...the guy is at least playing. Lee has a pretty decent blueline...why not mix in a young player like that? It's not intended to be criticism...it's just a question.
Coming from a guy that made too many deals last year for his own good...sometimes the best deals are the ones you don't make. We all want to get better quickly but you can just as easily slow your progression by doing too much and it can be the classic example of one step forward, two steps back. Sometimes status quo is the way to go.

Scott Cullen from TSN likes this trade for me

Kozun off to a decent start in AHL, putting him closest of the four to having any kind of fantasy impact, so I like that side.

I like you buddy but I dislike the deal for you. I would of wish you didn t make this deal. Maybe you know more about hockey then all of us. I never been againts you but after this deal It really made me think where you stand and why people keep bashing you. from now on I believe that you might be the tool that everyone is telling you are. And yes I said might that mean go show the world your not.
I made a huge mistake but I believe I will make up my bad moveby doing smart deals. Why it happen is because you actully gave me the 1st. So I made a lapse of judgement cause the deal to good and was so dumb from your side. I believe that 1st was worth 2 to 3 time what I paid. So I made a quick decision wich as Gm shouldn't do and you do do it all the time.
I want you to be arround but the thing I want the most is able gm. I just believe that you had a trerible roster and yes you got it better from what you started. But you keep on rushing your team when you should be patience. You doing what Burke as been doing in Toronto. Better off build a winner then a rush a team in being a middle of the pack team. You should of tried and tank your team and got a randsom for that 1st. So at the end I believe I'm not the tool.
