I also tried a few different approaches and Kyle was not cool with trade talks...
However we should clarify the DET pick conditions, just to make tracking the outcome easy.

uhh..Perron is just another one of those over-rated young guys who is supposed to be a star and is not proven yet. Now he is damaged goods on top of his unproven potential. Not sure why NYR would do this considering how they are a playoff team. Seems people like to sell the farm and start a rebuild on the feeling that they can't win it all. This was a very premature move, imo. I had NYR as one of the top 12 teams this year. This move really hurts. Ah well. To each is own. Nice job Scott. You are going after all last years producers eh? I wish i had some assets to compete with you but i don't, Im stuck with what i got.

When I saw this I litterally thought that Kap pulled a Facey and told Scott to post jokingly because the offer was soo bad, as Nick did to Frank with richards. When I saw him confirm I realized that Kap must have actually smoked himself stupid. I like ya bud but this trade will be another reference point when we talk about bad trades in the future.

If that were his MO, he's an even bigger idiot than previously thought. It's the simple principle of absolute gains vs relative gains, in absolute terms he got some decent futures that can help his team moving forward, but in relative terms he greatly improved a team he will be contending with in the future should he plan to contend, thus weakening his chances of winning it all. Starting to remember why I gave up on the BBKL just a few months after creating it with Mike. For some reason people think I left because of Kareem, but truly the reason was people making stupid trades and most of them directed towards the Devils.
The demons in the closet rearing their ugly face once again.
