So he likes Sbisa more than Jack Johnson.. maybe it's personal preference and not H2H.. He said in the future Sbisa is better. This isn't the future is it.

I wouldn't trade Semin for Mike Richards. Ricahrds is way better than Semin for this league, but I'd rather have my favourite player on my team and enjoy cheering for my team..

Hell, there is a LONG list of player way better than Semin that I wouldn't trade him for. Same goes for Bobby Ryan.

Jack Johnson's physicality is a legend for a reason, dude is a straight killer. I cannot comment on the multitude of hits between players, as I do not watch them play each and every shift, and the hit totals are in general, unreliable, as demonstrated by the hit differential of JJ from last season to this season. What I do know, is that JJ is one of the best open ice hitters in hockey, and has been his entire career.

let me stress: i actually factored in the salary, as JJ makes 4M.. but that, just like the fact i clearly said moving forward and never mentioned this past season, doesn't seem to matter to the little guys too busy posting their crap and this season stats. :facepalm:

i appreciate the effort.. your videos show JJ can be physical when he feels like, big news.. being physical on a consistent basis is a different matter though.. maybe coaches discouraged him from looking for the big hits and told him to care of his positioning first.. that didn't seem to help his +/- though, that's one thing he is very consistent at, having a terrible +/-.

His +/- is pretty bad over his career, and for whatever reason has stayed bad despite the improvement of the team. Whenever I watch him he doesn't appear to be a liability defensively, ergo the confusion on the subject.
