I'm not going to argue with you here man.. it's not even that big of a deal. But when you say you don't like a player and you'd "never draft a Russian" how is this supposed to seem. Then you offered me Namestnikov for 31 & 32 or Ryan Martindale? That's ridiculous.

There is also a bust factor, whereas with Sid you know what you got. Like I said yesterday, I think this deal will prove beneficial for us both.

As per the trade. Good trade for everyone. Lots of prospects for shiv to give up. But he could always recoup some of them trading some of his other high value players.

It really doesn't matter what I started with...I've turned crap assets into star pieces on a number of occasions, not only in this league, but several others. Starting with the Caps just sped up the process.

As for Lee, that was a joke based on a comment he made to Shoalzie last week.

You do realize Crosby has been cleared to play and has zero remaining symptoms right? Bad concussion yes but career over hardly.

This could be huge for Kareem and in as soon as one year we could be looking back on this as a steal for kareem but as for right now I love it for Shiv. There is only one Crosby.
