How many Cup did Bobby Orr won? 2, How many did Lidstrom ? The numbeer is 4, also how many years have Lidstrom played? Before proclaimming someone the best of all time, better be sure. In this case you fail.
Horrible argument...
Not only was Bobby Orr the best defenceman of all time, he was IMO the best hockey player of all time.

Was having this argument not 2 hours ago at the pub. I had to recuse myself (after saying Mario was the best player I've ever seen), as I'm too young to have seen Bobby in more than a handful of classic games.
First time I've heard Stevens in this conversation, though.

I've had the argument a million times myself...
I too am not old enough to have watched Bobby live, but my uncle (who introduced me to hockey when I was younger) is a diehard Bruins fans and would show me tape after tape of Bobby Orr to teach me the finer points of hockey, and the legend that is Bobby Orr. So admittedly my opinion is biased, Bobby Orr was the first hockey star I was introduced too, really the first sports star.

I watched Mario and Wayne in both of their hay-days and I choose Mario as the greatest ever. He was just the more dominate player in a tougher era of the game. Orr, even I was too young for so that's why I do not choose him. I use game domination as the biggest factor when judging the greatest ever so for me my order is:
Mario
Wayne
Orr
Hasek (his Hart trophy seasons might be the greatest seasons ever by any player.. fucking god-like)
