Once Okposo returned and they ran Grabner-Neilson-Okposo he had 31pts in 31gms with 19 goals in that span.

I'm not 100% sold on Grabner in long island, to this point most of his success has come off the rush to the outside, and I am of the belief that sooner or later opposing teams will take that option away. If Grabner is able to make the adjustment at that point I will become a believer.

I can appreciate the risk though, if Grabner is as good as he played last season you just bought a star for relatively cheap.

I am hoping. I'm a believer and watched NYI for Tavares a lot last year (so I got to see Grabner, naturally) and he's got pretty good vision too. We'll see if he can at least repeat last year's success though. If he does I'm more than happy. But I'm a big believer and think he'll improve and have a 35+ goal season.

I saw him alot too, and I'm going to be honest I saw a player who excelled off the same move (drive to the outside) time and time again with little to no adjustment from the opposition.

When you're that fast, why not?
As long as he adjusts when the other team plays that move, he'll be fine.

Roy may be the 3rd best player in this deal (time will tell)
Plec is one of this leagues best h2h players, if grabner can build on last year he could be a real gem foe shep. If I were u shiv I would have outright traded for plec's.

I never doubted the strategy, I am merely pointing out that it can be stopped.

I used a similar line to defend MSP, "you can't catch what your eyes can't see."

was better with crosby shiv!!!!!!!!!
Phil Kessel and James Neal will prove you wrong.
crosby will probably outscore both combined, and have better periphs.
Carter - 80, Kessel - 70, Neal - 55
Crosby - 120, Lupul - 55
It's close. And this is if we don't include the huge cap savings. Neal and Carter bring solid peripheries too
BUMP.
