Wilson is the best player in this deal by a mile IMO. That being said, I think it's a solid deal all around.

this is a solid point, wilson may have more h2h potiential than those 2 combined

as of now im not even sold beach will be any better than Carcillo, that being said, i still like the deal for kareem.

Couturier is gonna be sick IMO

It's interesting that you and Nick both have said that you don't view Beach as a very strong prospect. I also think it's interesting that Kareem hates Couturier, and traded Wilson for him anyway because there's some sentiment that Couts has a good mind for the game, but not the skills to support it.

Easy on mis-quoting me. I don't personally have a lot of faith in Beach because of his off-ice issues. But in-spite of his antics he's still a high-end prospect.


Wilson was a healthy scratch for some key sections of play last season, I doubt Couturier earns the same treatment.
