and a player who produces on own merit not that of his teammates.
You do realize Burrows played 10 less games right. And also, I said projections for that very reason. But anyways. If your valuation system values Marleau as a more valuable asset than Burrows then nothing makes me happier. I want my opponents to have a flawed valuation system.

Secondly, the difference between Marleau and Burrows is 4.9 M in cap. Projecting their stat lines:
Why am I expending $5M more in cap for 10 Goals and 75 Shots?
I am not accounting for salary. The values I put forth are based solely on production, not intrinsic value.
The penalty for Marleau being a center is more than accounted for in their production gulf.
Absolutely. But to talk about rankings without salary is silly. And IMO the the difference in production does not merit spending 5M more on cap. It's borderline insanity.
When I invoke these numbers it's solely about production, not value.
Regarding your other post, if you were wondering, GP is accounted for.

Yep. Just for my team like any competitor's team, 5M is everything. I spend 5M to go from Burrows to Marleau and that means I have to lose 5M somewhere else and lose production there. Cap for me means assessing the production leaving my team vs production coming in to include subsequent moves that would need to be made.
That being said, if this was a Yahoo league, I'd agree with you 100%. I'd trade Burrows + Seto for Marleau in a Yahoo league any day. He'd probably get dual eligibility on Yahoo too.

I would never do Burrows for Marleau straight. Ever. Not in BBKL. Forget about Burrows + Seto for Marleau. This isn't a Yahoo league.

it's not rocket science. he stocks NHLers when everyone is hyped for prospects, then sells his abundance of NHLers when everyone is trying to fill out their teams.

He's better at it than anyone else though.

This is the next player I would like to see Evander Kane one punch like so:
I'd certainly take marleau over burrows and I'm not a marleau fan.

Lot's of us know how Scott does what he does, we just don't do it. Ditto with Mike, the value he owns is insanity.
