Staal is not a third liner, not in the traditional sense, he gets top 6 minutes, and has been tried on a top line role as a winger, but he simply doesn't excel in that role. Jordan is not a player that can elevate the play of his teammates either. Agreed.Raptactics wroteCOLONI 100% agree that at this point J.Staal is overrated by Leaf fans but by no means is he not going to get better.. I think he has a ton of room to grow. I think Kareem wins this deal but not HUGE, it's a pretty reasonable trade imho.
