given that the change is 11 days, 10 days notice isn't extreme. The change is only decreased decision making time in order to increase realism; only downside i've seen mentioned is the risk of a goalie injury or trade involving contenders at the real TDD -> which is something we'd need to clause for someway.


why bother with this league? that's not a logical reason.

That is short notice no matter how you dress it up.

As much as it pains me to say it. I agree with Kareem on this, look into the change for next year, but for the contending teams especially pushing the deadline up last minute is a shitty move.

I vote no earlier deadline -- keep it what it is. We've got three weeks to make some deals, there's no sense in making it one week. DOWN WITH THE GESTAPO.

Have to agree, when Lee polled me yesterday I said the same thing. Im open to moving the deadline up; but not until next year. Too short notice to implement this year.

it doesn't affect me much either ways.. but i think we should stay as what it is for this year too bad if the world ends this year then no chance for a change next year... but yeah cc can discuss the trade deadline in the offseason to make it earlier.. even though there are many movements in the deadline that will affect key players role.. but i think there are less trades at the deadline compare to before and this just makes it more fun as u have to anticipate what moves the nhl teams will make.. but pls do it next year it's too short a notice
