Mason fucking blows.

minus his rookie season (which was great, but hey, raycroft had a great rookie season too) he has a GAA over 3.2 and a save percentage close to .89%

Agreed, and I think it's laughable that people think Bernier needs to be involved for that reason, and because he is incredibly overrated. Reimer has done more statistically than Bernier, and is more proven, and teams that go after unproven young goalies tend to pay for it in the long run *cough Mike Smith for Richards cough*.
Agree. Goalies are the biggest enigmas in hockey. Betting on a young goalie like Bernier is an incredible risk that CLB would be taking..especially if a young goalie like Bernier is the main piece in any trade for Nash.

If I were Howson, I'd ask for the most surefire young NHL talent. I don't really think Bernier as the main piece would be the smartest move.

Not even Rookie season. Outside of 1 BEAST month, his stats weren't all that great at all..
