After the playoffs I'll make another list. Only one way to move up Kareem.

I thought about those guys but they seemed like no's to me. Simply because they haven't been on Josh's team very long. I wanted to pick guys who were on their team for more then a few weeks is all.
I hear ya

Not sure how i'm supposed to be lucky to be in the Western conference (together with 15 other teams lol), especially when i'm part of the hardest division and probably had the toughest schedule (NJ, Toronto and Tampa as extraconference opponents).

Also interesting to figure out which one of Malkin, Gaborik and Zetterberg does not contribute on offense.

Nice post though. :)

East >>> then West.

This is why you are lucky.

Thanks man. Honestly though, I like your team.. it should be really competitive soon.

Thanks buddy, I like the direction I am heading in too.

not going to bother with the grey part, since it seems to really help Eastern GMs to sleep better..

the funny thing is that somehow i'm the lucky one in West (despite the schedule and the division) whereas apparently teams like Phoenix, Anaheim, Vancouver, San Jose,... are not!

There isn't any argument to make.

The West has improved since last year, i'll give you that.

It's all subjective outside of the top 5-10 teams

I feel I should be ranked higher because I kept myself in the running for the playoffs for quite a while and caved at the perfect time to rebuild. Traded for my first when it was 15th ish overall.

With that said.. this is.. 3? straight years with a bottom 5 finish for my team and I've proved nothing.
