You mean back in the days when you were still building your team; and not just maintaining the status quo as a good team that can't get over the playoff hump? Seems like you've been close but haven't actually acheived anything since the quality of GM in the league has gone up.

only 2 GM's have ever won this league, Scott x2 and Anton once. And to be honest, i've only had a few homerun deals in the past 3-4 years. Most of those were offered to me. That said, we all started with the original NHL team (thus we were all fairly even), My team today is no better or worse than the team i was given.

I haven't had any issues with Shiv's trade offers personally. Ditto with Josh. Making deals with the two of them can be hard, but that has more to do with different valuations of players, rather than lowball offers. From my perspective anyways.

Josh lowballs but I feel he legit thinks hes offering you a good deal.
Shiv lowballs but knows better and if one shows patience he willl offer you a good deal.

Oh, we have good trade talks, I don't really consider you a lowballer; however, on the odd occasion where you've made an opening offer I've found it fairly bad. However, like I said, its usually nothing we can't negotiate around!

By the way, no one should take offense to this thread.

If we were all easy to trade with it would be no fun! When a guy like josh, shiv, mik, etc... Gets one of your players it poses a challenge to trade for them!

I think shiv is good now adays, Far past his old reputation. He requires patience, you get a offer tell him to fuck himself.

Took me 3 weeks to wide him down to a fair deal for kronwall.

#1 rule when dealing with Shiv: Don't believe anything he says, do your own research, use your own judgements, make your own valuations of players and you'll be fine.

dont knock fat chicks until you ride one, they're actually pretty good.

my rule:

#1) If you nail a fat chick, lie about it
