When you are putting players on LTIR please be clear that's the case.
If you are appointing replacements make sure they are eligible and their salary is lower or the same as the player they are replacing.
Make sure you indicate when your players on the LTIR are eligible to return.

If a player is not eligible for LTIR, Beagle is not considered an "IR replacement". All you have to do is just place a guy on IR, and on a separate day to day transaction, state that beagle has been recalled to NYI from minors...

There are no replacements with regular IR. All putting someone on regular IR does is mean he doesn't take a space on the 23-man. Cap still counts.
