I want everyone to check the following.

Fiddler vs. O'Reilly. The ONLY difference between these two going forward will be points. Periphery wise theyre going to put up very similar numbers.

O'Reilly = 50 points (lets assume he somehow hits this) 500 fow, 250 shtoi, 50 pims, 50 hits
Staois = 10 points

Fiddler = 30 points, 600 fow, 250shtoi, 75 pims, 75 hits
Greene = 30 points (very conservative. Greene is NJD's #1 d man and he hits great peripheries)

the rest of the pieces nate gave up were useless to his team and not going to make his roster.

points wise it evens out. don't get me wrong, i think i won this deal otherwise i never would have done it. but you guys are overreacting.

The deal is Greene + Fiddler for O'Reilly. Nate would never do Andy Greene for O'Reilly straight up (I tried lol).

Let me put it this way. If the deal was:

To Carolina: Vernon Fiddler + Andy Greene
To Pittsburgh: Ryan O'Reilly

EVERYONE would say that the deal is close. What has happened is that everyone has lost sight of the fact that apart from O'Reilly, Nate gave me NOTHING ELSE of substance.

Everything else is a throw in/decoy on Nates part to get Fiddler + Greene as a return on O'Reilly. THAT'S the trade. Don't make it out to be Greene for O'Reilly.
