Nothing wrong with trying to gain support for a minor change, if shook and shiv get enough yes votes the cc will at least talk about it.

Leagues been great up until this point. Now he wants to add mote value to players that are already valued quite highly. Much like shoalzie previously mentioned on the first page. This isn't even fixing the main issue that shook brought up in that now ridiculously long thread where this all started.

if SO means you are likely getting a W, sv% and GAA... so SO is redundent and is meaningless as a category... then scoring a power play point means u r getting a pt, a G or A, a SOG, STPTS and now the proposed PPTOI... i also think it is redundant and meaningless category and already getting enough value as it is. And by de-valuing a goalie i think people just getting a goalie (why do I need a good goalie? and spending my cap on it?) for the sake of fulfilling the goalie GP only.. u don't need the categories anyway...

and wait.. i shall stop here.. too much arguing in this league already... long summer and fucking cbs screw us up.

I personally don't think Shiv has done anything out of line by seeing what interest there is, he clearly says its an informal vote to see where interest lies, nothing more.

I have no idea why people are hating on me in this thread. I said it's an informal vote. I gave both sides of the argument. I wanted to every GM to get in a vote so that if the CC is talking about it, they can pull from this thread as to what league opinion is.

After seeing the reaction in this thread, I think you may have been right.

But I don't get it? Why the negative backlash? It is literally an informal poll to give everyone a voice yet everyone seems to be taking it the wrong way. It's pretty frustrating as a person trying to get something done with good intentions.

Ryan Suter is so valuable that I haven't even got one decent offer on him. And that's a perennial Norris candidate. So yup, nothing broken here.

like many people have mentioned, the cap has gone down significantly for next season. I also don't think anyone has really had an offer on anyone as of late...

20 to have a discussion in the CC? I'd say having 15 is enough for that. Anyways, leave that to the CC.
