If you were under the cap with Goli I'm not sure I get why you made this trade? Although value is fine here, I thought your team was stronger with Goli.

Nah I broke down stats for my team's situation in particular and I'm better off after this trade.

Fair enough - I'm not familiar with Goli's #, but I believe you pointed out in other threads that he could be very strong shtoi, pts, stpts, and whatever else. Stalberg is super physical and scores a fair amount for his cap hit. Elliot is a risk, so who knows!

I traded vertseeg for Colborne and England - and against a ton of opponents, and depending what Joe does this year, believe that helped me.

My rationale was that Stalberg has virtually no competition on the Nashville depth chart on the Wings. He's a big sleeper pick at 3m, while Goli is what he is.

Colin Wilson in NSH is the only lock IMO for their top line - so you're correct that whoever is making scoring chances will be getting ice-time.

Yup. Stalberg will get every opportunity to play PP1 I think. Potentially a top line forward this season at 3M? I had to do the deal for that reason. Long term Tony probably wins. But I got Elliott to hedge that risk.

Colin Wilson has one of his two arms out of a sling.
Wilson had stabilization surgery on both of his shoulders within the span of a few weeks. Because of that, he will be initially focusing on his core and lower-body when he starts his offseason workout program next week. "It’s going well," Wilson said. "I’m rehabbing every single day and doing everything I can. I’m ahead of schedule right now." Jun 1 - 7:17 PM

Goligoski + Penner for Stalberg + Ference makes this trade look a lot better. Happy with the cycle.

you know what's funny? Shiv starts all sorts of shit selling his damn players and people get in to all sorts of arguments/get riled up like mountain beasts and make it sound like we're all gonna boycott his players on the block insinuate "nobody wants them for that price" but then ends up getting Traded to the most unlikely candidate to and then often end up engage in some sorta posts trade conversation about how good the deal was for either parties

this is probably quite accurate.

BBKL hates the lowballs but loves the activity and debate you stirr-up...seems like a win-lose for everyone and a win-win for you!
