So i entered a 5 buck tourney and got 32nd and won 25 bucks. How long does it normally take before funds get entered to your account? Just curious....
started with 0 dollars. up to $30

Do you play cash games exclusively?
All I do is gpp and I go on some nasty losing streaks. If it is gpp, where do you find the fields to be the softest?
I've got 5$ left from my 50$ deposit last season and I don't know if I should reup on fanduel or go draftkings.

I'd say 85% cash 15% GPP
Last night I finished 2nd of 109 in a $10 GPP on Victiv and 1st in a 37 person $5 GPP and 1st in a 96 person $1 GPP on FantasyUp.
Victiv and FantasyUp are where I play mostly since FantasyUp had no rake this season and Victiv is half the rake of DK and FD. I don't know if they are softer competition since most new players would likely be drawn to FD or DK due to advertisements, but when playing cash games the amount I have saved with less rake is significant. I've also cleared $270 in bonus money on FantasyUp so far since they offered 300% deposit bonus which is 3X higher than others.
I deposited $10 on FD at the end of Nov and have $174 but I rarely bet more than $5-10. DK I played a lot early in the year and more than FD since I like the late swap option, but still play the two smaller sites for the majority of my action. I think I could be up a lot more if I played more GPPs but I like the lower risk and can't complain with the results.

Well hot damn, congrats to you Matt, that's fucking amazing.
I should try some more cash games instead of trying to.hit a home run in the gpp. Just love my gpps though so its tough.
I haven't been playing the markets much lately because most of my money goes towards my car but I've been killing it for my parents in their account. With regards to my own account, I've got a 2600$ investment from august 2012 worth over 11 grand atm on the London stock exchange so I've at least got that going for me lol.

I have a B.Comm and have taken courses like economics of equity markets and futures and options markets. I also worked as a Financial Advisor for 2 years, but we didn't do much in terms of stock selection it was more automated with analyzing client's risk tolerance and using diverse mixes of mutual funds. I have the knowledge to be able to do it, but like they say you need money to make money and between my mortgage, car and living expenses I don't have much extra to invest.
I'm looking at a career change and waiting for an offer to join the military as a pilot. Was in Trenton for two days of computerized testing last month on memory, math, spatial recognition, hand eye co-ordination etc. and was one of 3 people out of 18 to pass. It was the hardest testing I have ever done and no surprise the pass rate is so low. There is a selection board end of April and another one towards then end of Summer, if I am selected it would be a significant pay raise and allow me to start investing more for retirement.

I don't have much schooling experience when it comes to the stock markets myself, pretty much just self taught through trial and error. . When thst 09 crash happened though i knew i had to get my foot in the door as imo there was no way we werent bouncing back and low and behold here we are today.
ive always stood by the belief tthat I work very hard for my money and as a result I want my money to work hard for me. Yah, I could put my money in a specialized savings account but that's gonna give me what, 2-3%? I can easily beat that on the market so that's where I choose to have my excess cash.
Outside my bank of Ireland stocks which I bought when the Irish economy tanked I would have to say my biggest home run was getting my parents in under armour around 55$ before it did any splits. I think they are up like 85 grand in 2-3 years lol.
