Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I really like the matchup.
The Pens have been the best team in the East for several months so they deserve to be here. I can't pull for them no matter what but I respect the run they've been on.
I love seeing a team in the finals that hasn't been there before so you'll get a genuine effort and I don't see the Sharks as a "just happy to be there" team. Too many veterans and DeBoer has been there before with the Devils. I don't think the Sharks are a team of destiny...they're more of a team on a mission. Thornton has become one of those respected older veterans that you can't help but root for. He's put up with a lot of criticism in his career and this could be his shot at shutting a lot of people up. Of all the Sharks teams of the recent past, I wouldn't have guessed this was the one to finally breakthrough but as the playoffs went on, you could see they were different.

It's going 7. Would love to see Kessel or Joe win one. Good either way.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I've been really impressed with Kessel...I think he's found a comfort zone on that team. They tried pairing him with Sid or Geno but the magic touch has been sticking him on the 3rd line. I don't think you want guy making that coin playing 3rd line minutes but he's been very effective.

He plays first line minutes. On every PP with Sid and key O-zone faceoffs. He just plays ES with the bonino line.Shoalzie wroteCOLONI've been really impressed with Kessel...I think he's found a comfort zone on that team. Want the Sharks to win
Fuck the Penguins. That Crosby draft was quite clearly rigged

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Kessel would have the Cup in one hand, a hot dog in the other!

again with this crap?KapG wroteCOLONFuck the Penguins. That Crosby draft was quite clearly rigged
yet of all the ones whining about the rigged lottery no one guessed it right before it happened
it was apparently going to get rigger to help a lot of teams, but no one thought of the Penguins.. until it happened I guess
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Fuck off
The team that was on the verge of folding just happened to randomly win the lottery for Crosby, the most hyped prospect maybe ever
You're naive to think there is no chance it was rigged.
Definitely a chance it was legit, I just have a hard time seeing that be the case what with everything that was going on with that franchise at the time

You do know that draft lotteries are audited by reputable firms right? It's very unlikely an auditing firm is going to put its reputation on the line so that some sports team gets the first pick.

Unless the primary shareholder in those auditing forms was none other than Mario Lemieux!Arian The Insider wroteCOLONYou do know that draft lotteries are audited by reputable firms right? You guys just believe everything everyone tells you
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Just look at all the shady shit that goes on in the financial world, and y'all are trying to tell me some auditing firm wouldn't risk rigging a draft.
Ok then...
