Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC
Alexander Radulov could not find an NHL team willing to pay his asking price. He has signed with KHL Salavat.

Szymon Szemberg: Salavat GM denies that they have signed Radulov: “It’s the first time I hear about this”.

Aivis Kalnins: Don’t see Radulov signing with anyone other than CSKA if he remains in the KHL.

Aivis Kalnins: Radulov’s KHL agent said that Radulov doesn’t have a contract in place with any KHL team at this point.

Radulov isn't worth the trouble...and his asking price was stupid. Wants $7 million a year and the guy couldn't get a goal every 3 games when he was in Nashville. No thanks. I don't care what he did in Russia.

I'd take him for 7m short term, but not until I know I couldn't sign any of the other top free agents like lucic of erikson.

As long as he doesn't come to the leafs I don't care. Great hockey player - manages to dismantle teams from the inside.

Lawton believes it's one of:

Toronto
TB
Boston

- "but there's a very good chance he returns to TB if he doesn't sign in Toronto"

Interesting since Tampa won't give him big money. Not sure where Boston came from I had been hearing DET, BUF, TOR.
