ARI def have lots of NHL signed Dmen.

However I'd think a guy like Zyb is further from a safe bet.


Dhal needs to compete with Connauton, and to a lesser extent tinordi and McBain.

Steve is correct in that they have 8 D on one way deals.

OEL, Stone, Murphy, Goli, Schenn are locks so it comes down to one spot for Connauton, Dahlbeck and Michalek. Dahlbeck seems to be in tough as he saw the least amount of icetime from that trio, I would bet on Michalek as the 6th D on opening night, he is a vet who I think they are loyal to and he played the most last year.

I expect the coyotes to move one of stone/murphy for a top pairing RHD to pair up with OEL and have the other play with goligoski on the 2nd pair. schenn will be fighting for 3rd pair time with dahlbeck, michalek, connauton, deangelo, even chychrun.

OEL - Trade for RHD (Shattenkirk? if they could get him to sign an extension, Trouba?)
Goligoski - Stone/Murphy
Connauton/Dahlbeck - Schenn/Michalek/DeAngelo

Maybe wishful thinking but they have useful depth with RHD that they can use to get a top pairing guy

Or just sign both Murphy and Stone and have one pair with OEL, not sure they're top pairing guys but it's an option

That's a weird group of comparables...

IMO he's paid like a scoring winger - which he only is when playing with G, but is very looking like a viable option for him.

now...Okposo gets .875 more, and scores a lot more...



but if he's used as a hard to play, 2 way, C, which IMO he was pretty good at -> it's a little steep but could pay off if he finds some consistency.
