Exactly, so why would anyone trade for his rights without assurance he would play for them? Shero's hands are tied.kyuss wroteCOLONhe was in fact coming over if he was free to sign for whatever team he wanted
Is that not what I just said? Lol!kyuss wroteCOLONa team that already agreed with him on terms?
they signed pitlick to 3 years deal.. i think if he's healthy will be on the 3rd lineShep wroteCOLONBishop in a Hitchcock system is going to dominate, and I was one of the biggest criticizers of the trade/signing of Bishop. Once Hitch is gone, they're in trouble.
Janmark - Seguin - Spezza
Benn - Hanzal - Radulov
Rousell - Raksa - Ritchie
Shore - Flynn - Cracknell
Klingberg - Methot
Johns - Hamhuis
Lindell - Honka
Bishop
Lehtonen
That's a really strong team. They have $4.7mil to sign Faksa and Ritchie, as well as improving their fourth line if they so choose. The top 9 forwards is as strong as any other team in the West, IMO.
i duno if avs is the best team to play for (gonna be plus/minus -50 this season for yak)..... but i like the dollarskimmer wroteCOLONYakupov 875k one yr with Avs

pretty much the opposite, the way I read itCasperX22 wroteCOLONIs that not what I just said? Lol!kyuss wroteCOLONa team that already agreed with him on terms?
I don't think you are grasping exactly what is being said. Kovalchuk wasn't going anywhere he didn't want to go. Nobody was giving anything up bc they knew Sheri's hands were tied. Kovalchuk's rights are owned by NJ, so no team could negotiate terms with him without NJ permission.kyuss wroteCOLONpretty much the opposite, the way I read itCasperX22 wroteCOLONIs that not what I just said? Only difference is since Kovy had teams he was fine going to, I think some of those teams probably offered something to Shero for his rights, but Shero felt it wasn't enough, asked for more and came up emptyCasperX22 wroteCOLONI don't think you are grasping exactly what is being said.
