I am ok with the idea of a new CC. I was against it at first but they do have a point that this CC has been in power for a long time. Maybe change could be a good thing. Overall it doesn't help me so what ever but it is definitely a discussion that should be had at some point.Peter wroteCOLONI vote for SteveFair Deals Steve wroteCOLONi have an idea, but i'm not on the CC

Shout out to my trade advisorNick wroteCOLONCongrats Peter.
Mike wroteCOLONCC has just voted on pick fines/lack of. Will put in announcements threads and such with more explanation when time allows it.
1. For missing Goalie GP Hong/MIN will have a 1st of their choice as well as their waiver choice forfeit as well as a warning for removal.
2. Missing GP: Shoalzie/DET will NOT have his 1st rounder fined. He will need to acquire and forfeit a 2nd rounder.
3. Missing GP: Phion/BUF his 1st rounder will be moved back 2 slots.
4. Missing GP: PHO: Pending
are the potential new people even going to take it as seriously as the ones we have in there now?shooker wroteCOLONI am ok with the idea of a new CC. Shoalzie made extensive and consistent effort to meet GP, trading for many NHLers at the cost to his team, the injuries piled up as well as some cuts, all said he missed by very little. The fine of adjusting the 1st overall 1 spot is viewed as a larger fine than the moving a mid pick back 2. The pick was not in last because of lost GP - even with added GP his team was safely in last place. As such we found a different fine for him (as he did still fail to make GP requirements). Once again, we considered his effort, trades, focus on GP, injuries & cuts in the decision. The above is not true for the BUF pick, and once again, adjusting a mid pick is not viewed as impact-ful as adjusting the #1.KapG wroteCOLONwhats the reason for DET pick not being fined and Buffalos being dropped two spots?
Was there a huge discrepancy in GP between the two?
OK cool. Thanks for the detailed response Nick!Nick wroteCOLONShoalzie made extensive and consistent effort to meet GP, trading for many NHLers at the cost to his team, the injuries piled up as well as some cuts, all said he missed by very little. The way they are going about things makes me think twice about that.
Nick wroteCOLONScott iirc we start 2-weeks (14 days) prior to the start of the NHL draft.
Apologies. Somehow we didn't come to decision on how much it should be adjusted. Decision coming.anton wroteCOLONsooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.....the PHX pick?
Also, Buffalo made it blatantly obvious they were intentionally tanking and trading away plenty of NHLers for picks and prospects, while clearly not worrying about GP until it was too late.KapG wroteCOLONOK cool.
