Maybe older, declining guys will be paid less now that the younger players are getting big long-term deals right out of their ELCs.

there are still some quality young guys on bridge-deals. I think crappy young guys dont get their QO's anymore. Too many good prospects coming in the league these days for low-end players, especially younger players with little upside.
