Man Luongo on the IR too - is it just me or does there seem to be way more goalie injuries this year?

Has there really been that many? I see a few starters out but nothing major. You'll get dings along the way...that's why carrying a decent #2 goalie is so important in today's NHL.

Vegas head coach Gerard Gallant, as is often the case immediately following a game in which an injury occurs, didn’t have an update on Subban’s condition. He called it a lower-body injury, and said he would know more by Sunday.

However, John Shannon of Sportsnet, citing a team source, reported that Subban will undergo an MRI on Sunday and is “probably out weeks.”

Subban, Fleury, Rask, Schneider, Luongo, Raanta, Miller... seems like more than usual. but maybe not?!

Oh, I was thinking you more alluded to starters being hurt. In general, sure...there's several guys hurt right now.

A couple guys with concussions...Rask and Fleury. The injury report is so vague with UBI and LBI as the injury. Probably means the injuries aren't too serious. Seems like anyone with a significant injury, it'll be listed by body part. If a guy had surgery on a part, they'll list that.

Hard to say what the actual issue is. It's gotta be a case-by-case situation.

So torn on this, don't really think he is an upgrade on Carrick/Borgman/Rosen but want him to play for fantasy.

Of course, absent an NHL trade or AHL assignment, a return to RUS is another potential consideration. So lots of moving parts to play out.

at least shows McPhee isn’t gonna stick his head in the sand and not be flexible. And ya looks alright for me. Hopefully he lands somewhere for paul’s sake
