not sure what Pettersson did to deserve a callup.. especially when Vatanen was dealt because they were stacked on D, it's not like they need to fill a void. They still have 4 right-handed defensemen in Manson, Bieksa, Montour and Holzer.

And personally I'd expect Severson's icetime to go down, but we'll see about that

As a canucks fan who lives quite close to seattle im ecstatic. I can now head down to seattle and see games far cheaper...not to mention it will be nice to finally have a solid local northwest rival for vancouver.

There's almost zero chance Seattle expansion doesn't go ahead, them being approved is just a formality

Expansion 100%... way too much money for the owners to pass up on if its available. Saving Quebec City forever for a relocation.
