Not going to lie though...nice to get a big win after getting stomped by the elite teams. I'm basically still 45 wins from getting back in the playoffs...still a lot of room to improve. I've got a couple of matchups coming up with Vancouver and Edmonton that I can certainly hang in, if not win outright. I'd like to finish respectably and have a chance to make myself better this summer to at least be a more pesky team.

A long, active off-season goes a long way.

Well, I don't quite have the pieces he and some others have had to work with to make a big improvements. I've got to find the right trade partners and take a few risks here and there and I might not know how good I can be until we start it up again in October. I'd like to get into the middle third of the league next year...we'll see if that's realistic. That 1st round pick in 2013 will probably not be moved this summer because I want to see if I can get better and I wouldn't want to trade it before I know if I'm going to either be in the middle of the pack or amongst the bottom few teams. I don't know what its value will be.

If someone could do an update on the standings..I would appreciate that very much. Need to see how far down I've dropped down in the standings!

The best news of this weeks standings is that Kyle slips down to the 5th seed, ergo if Nick were to pass me in the standings (fingers crossed) I get the opportunity to knock that piece of shit out of the playoffs in the first round, and defeat him in b2b weeks.

And the gauntlet has been thrown...

+4 points on Kareem, by year end is the goal. In the way is TOR, WSH (!) & NYI.

Four teams in 20 points at the top of the Central, lol.. dogfight division.

12 pts ahead of Anaheim now, but that's a transient advantage as at the 2nd last week Cliff faces a selling PHX team whereas i'll play Toronto.
San Jose overturned its matchup yesterday, Columbus has Dallas and Vancouver the next two, Shep has Detroit and Calgary the last two.. so overcoming those teams seem unlikely.

Too bad Anaheim got 2 pts out of his matchup thx to Clutterbuck injury (won Hits by 1..), but hopefully Penner stays a healthy scratch moving forward! (sorry Cliff, you're enemy #1 right now )

Meanwhile, i have 1 (useless) GWG in my last 27 goals scored.

Had to take a closer look at this ongoing crap and found this happened along the past 9 weeks :

FAIL.

^ Tell me about it....I more than doubled FLA in goals this past week, and ended up tying the GWG stat.

yeah but i mean, on one week it's a common thing, over more than 2 months it becomes really odd.. and annoying!

Lol, we all know who the piece of shit is. The funny thing is that you are the one who is undefeated. You are supposed to win. I have lost 3 times now. Imagine the irony if i was to actually knock you out. Now that would be the better story.
