Well, if I know GAA like I think i do,

Elliott had a 6.42 GAA today. So that'll definitely play a factor.

I'd say the GAA it shows is up-to-date.

What was Jake Allen's GAA though? Isn't it still 5 between Eliott and Allen?

Nope.

Because say he allows 4 goals in 40 minutes, they get a 6 GAA if he's pulled because they take the average and assume he'd let in 3 more in the 3rd.

Elliott was 6.42
Allen was 2.6

IF it works like this (I don't know if it does) would it be: 1.00 + .92 + .93 + 6.42 + 2.6 / 4 games = 2.97 :o

I don't know how GAA is calculated in total with partial games. See below:
Game GAA = goals * game length/minutes played

Of course, if you play the full game, game length/minutes played = 1. So the Game GAA is just the total number of goals you gave up for that game.

If you get pulled then the formula kicks in to make you feel worse about the game.

For example, you let up 5 goals in the 1st period and then get pulled. GAA for that game is 5 * 60/20, or 5 * 3 which means your GAA for that game is 15.

GAA = goals * game length/minutes played is accurate.

so on the week, GAA total = ( total goals against/ minutes played) x 60

so it would be (8 / 60+60+64+65) x 60 = 1.92

Well, I believe unless Eriksson gets an OTGWG you win 7-6-3.

Still not 100% confirmed yet (we'll see tomorrow morning). Whichever way it goes, it was super tight..couldve gone either way. I definitely got my share of bounces to keep myself in it throughout the week. Good game shep.

I don't want to get ahead of myself but if I am playing you..you're going to destroy me. Your team is as well rounded as it can get.

Something is weird in all this. I'll be honest with you, I think I might win GAA. I'm looking at past weeks GAA and Washington last year, the simple 10 GAA / 243 minutes * 60 does not add to the final GAA result.

So I'll hold on to a very small glimmer of hope that that changes in my favour (which it won't).

Fucking Kopitar. Came down to the 3rd period in the final game. Cannot believe you got 6 SPTS on 18pts and i got 6 STPTS on 31pts. Image
