It's value relative to the Caps...he's slotted behind Oshie in terms of AAV but that's Zucker/J.T. Miller/Zibanejad/Drouin money for that age group. I think he can be a solid player but he's coming off 34 points...that's going to be a bad cap hit until he hits 50+ points.

I don't think that's a foregone conclusion, he spent most of this year on the Ovi line and hit a career high of 35. He's already played almost 400 games in the NHL. I don't think he's going to suddenly get heaps better.

Zucker and Wilson are two completely different players. No one cares or worries when Zucker is on the ice. However, Wilson is intimidating and also had the ability to score. I would argue that Wilson's skillset is more desirable than Zucker's.
A massive power forward with the abaility to break your jaw with a clean it and also pot 20goals. Very few players can offer that package. I would personally take Wilson.

He's never scored 20 goals in a season though, the closest he's come is 14 in 78 gp this year. A lot of money to go out and intimidate.

Are his "clean hits" why he leads the league in boarding majors since entering it? and already has 3 suspensions?
