7 more players cut from team Canada world juniors:

Goalies Brett Brochu & Tristan Lennox

Forwards Tyson Foerster, Adam Beckman, Hendrix Lapierre, Cole Schwindt, and Shane Wright.

No surprises amongst this group. 34 guys remain with 9 more cuts to come.
Final cuts should be Friday for the finalized roster.

Those lines are just.... wow... deadly.

Byram and Harley should have great tournies - all eyes on Byram for sure. This is going to be great! Hope the tourney actually happens.

Glad he did. He has nothing left to prove at the junior level. Let the other kids have their time.

I'm sure he could have forced their hand if he wanted. Especially given he won't be missing any actual NHL games.

Based on timelines + quarantine rules I think the players would miss the entirety of camp if they went to Gold Medal game. Seems like a not ideal start for your #1 pick to jump into the NHL with no real training camp.

With Slaggert making it that puts my own wjc players up to 6, so am happy with that: slaggert, teply, barron, drysdale, mcmichael, and Koffer.

It would be nice to get Beecher and Bordeleau back to Ann Arbor...Michigan's play has dropped off since all their guys left for Team USA's camp.

For being prospect poor, it's nice to see Moynihan make Team USA.
