I pretty sure Dubois will have to for sure, not sure about laws in CLB.

I'd take columbus over Winnipeg from a weather standpoint 10/10

Crazy return for Columbus considering the PLD situation. I guess Winnipeg felt they great about getting rid about their own problems while landing Dubois, but on paper they still overpaid pretty bad for a guy who blatantly wanted out.

From a BBKL perspective, this is what I feared, cause I feel like Columbus is the worst place Laine could end up in. At least I got Roslovic signed.

Gotta imagine kekalainen has a deal in principle for laine going forward or he wouldn’t have made the move. Guess he still will be an RFA but not ideal if there is no confirmation on a future deal.

Overcorrecting on my Laine isn't good, but yea he isn't someone I'd pay a high acquisition price and then likely sign a $$$ deal on.

I think the deal was a no brainer in his situation, no matter the contract talks with Laine. Like you said, it's not like he is going to be UFA
