I always assumed Zach Duke, the first Vegas player was undrafted but he was a Minnesota pick back in 2014.

I got my own elite contract on waiver exempt Lindgren last week. 500K more but an extra year and he was surprisingly a top 50ish Dman this year.

I think Lindgren and Fox are going to be connected at the hip for the foreseeable future. I think Fox can do alright with a different partner but if you get the best out Lindgren as Fox's partner...then you roll with that.

Something has to give in NY. Some of their young NHL defenders/prospects are going to need to be moved because they dont have space for all of them and Trouba's contract is immovable. Some of that is likely coming this off-season.

It's that time of year when guys start exiting the NHL for overseas. I saw in the last week that Jacob De La Rose signed with Färjestad. Not the end of the world for me...he ate up a bench spot on my roster and rarely played. I'd rather stash him away and maybe he comes back after this contract.

With a brand new team coming into the league, you would think some of the fringe players might want to hang around before fielding offers with European clubs but maybe they just want out...NHL job opportunities be damned. You would think an expansion team might allow a few extra veterans the opportunity to prolong their career with more roster spots available.
